Creator Program Terms

1. The program

The Flippr Creator Program pays creators to film short videos about Flippr from scripts we provide. These terms are between you and Flippr ("we", "us"). By applying or uploading a video, you agree to them.

You must be 18 or older and able to receive payouts through Stripe. Joining is by invitation after you apply. We choose who to pick at our discretion.

2. Test video

If we pick you, you film one test video from any script in our library. If it follows the script, we pay $50 for it even if we decide the program isn't a fit.

Free Flippr Standard starts when we pick you and lasts while you're in the program.

3. Pay

We pay $50 for each video we approve. A video is the finished main video plus the two short hook clips the script asks for.

If you post an approved video on your own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook and send us the links, we add $25 once we confirm a post is public, is on your account, and is the approved video. The bonus is $25 per video, however many places you post it.

We pay for up to 4 videos per creator per calendar month (Pacific time). Payouts go out on the 1st of each month for everything approved, and every post we confirmed, in the month before.

Payouts are made through Stripe, which needs to verify your identity and bank details first. Amounts owed wait until your Stripe account is set up. You're responsible for your own taxes; we may issue a 1099 where required.

4. Your videos

Videos must be your own original work, filmed for Flippr, and follow the script you picked. Don't use music, logos, or footage you don't have rights to, and don't include anyone who hasn't agreed to be filmed.

We review every upload. We may ask for changes, and we decide which videos to approve. We don't pay for videos we don't approve, other than the test video described above.

5. How Flippr can use your videos

For every video you send us, including the hooks and any raw footage, you give Flippr a worldwide, royalty-free license to copy, edit, cut, trim, resize, caption, and combine it with other content; to post it on Flippr's own accounts and on the personal accounts of Flippr's team; to use it in paid ads on any platform, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube; and to use it in any other Flippr marketing, such as our website, app store pages and emails. This includes your name, voice, and likeness as they appear in the video.

For videos we approve and pay for, this license is permanent and can't be withdrawn, including after you leave the program. For videos we don't approve, we won't post them or use them in ads.

You keep ownership of your videos and can post them on your own accounts. Every video we approve is paid, whether or not we use it.

6. Posting and disclosure

Posting is optional. When you post a video we paid for, add #ad to the caption or turn on the platform's "Paid partnership" label. It's required by advertising rules and keeps your account in good standing. Don't say anything about Flippr that isn't true.

When you post on TikTok or Instagram, you also send us the post's Spark Ads code (TikTok) or partnership ad code (Instagram), so we can run your post as an ad from your account.

7. Texts and emails

The Flippr team works with creators mostly by text: new scripts, video feedback, and payday. Texts are only sent if you opt in, and you can reply STOP at any time. See our SMS Terms. We may also email you at your Flippr account email about the program.

8. Your spot in the program

We review creator spots once a month. If your videos haven't met our briefs for a while, we may end your spot. You can also leave any time by telling us.

If your spot ends, for any reason, you'll still be paid for every video we already approved and every post we already confirmed.

9. The relationship

You're an independent creator, not an employee or agent of Flippr. Nothing here guarantees a minimum number of videos or amount of pay.

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we'll tell you before it applies to new videos. Videos already approved stay under the terms they were approved under.
